There are numerous ways in which you can join the Highland LifeCare Center's life affirming mission.  Some are listed below.

Walk for Life--Saturday, May 9, 2009

Please join Highland LifeCare Center on Saturday, May 9, 2009 for the annual Walk for Life.  The location will once again be Lake Phalen in St. Paul.  Registration begins at 9am and the Group Walk begins at 10am.  Help us meet our goal of raising $30,000 by collecting pledges and then attending the Walk (although attendance is not necessary) or by sponsoring a Celebrity Walker.  To register as a Walker and receive Walk materials, please email your name, address, and phone number to info@highlandlifecare.org.  Please put "Walk for Life" in the subject line.

A few local churches and schools will have Celebrity Walkers including Fr. Feela from Lumen Christi, Fr. Bauer from Nativity, Fr. Joe from St. Mark's, Fr. Miguel from St. Francis/St. James and Mrs. Schmidt from Highland Catholic.  Pledge forms will be available at these locations a couple of weekends before the Walk, you may call the Center to make a pledge at 651-695-0111, or click on the Paypal link to the left on this page to donate via credit card.  Put the name of the Celebrity Walker you are sponsoring next to your email address.  You do not need to have a Paypal account set up to donate.  You can make a one time donation using Paypal by clicking on the link to the left of this page, entering the amount you wish to donate, scrolling down to "Don't have a paypal account?" and clicking on the Continue link.

Financial Support

Highland LifeCare Center is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  We can accept your tax-deductible donation by check in the mail, by credit card online, or through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).  Please call or email the center with your name and address to have an EFT form sent to you.  Credit card donations may be made through Paypal by clicking on the donate link to the left.

Baby Clothes and Equipment

The center welcomes donations of baby clothes, diapers, and some baby equipment.  We can accept your donation anytime during our open hours which are Monday-Friday 9am-3pm.  Following are a list of items we need or accept:

• Clean baby clothes up to size 2T or 24 months
• Diapers
• Formula
• Cribs
• Strollers
• Brand new car seats (no used car seats)
• Crib sheets, blankets, towels, & washclothes
• Please call first to ask if we accept other items you have to donate

Volunteer

• Pray regularly for the center's clients and staff
• Become a trained counselor or receptionist
• Apply to be a Board Member
• Assist with a fundraiser
• Help deliver baby equipment to client's homes
• Offer other gifts and talents you have
